Rent Storage Space in East Bergholt – Suffolk / Essex Border

We now offer secure storage space to rent at our family run site in East Bergholt, for those extra bits and pieces that have built up over the years. Whether its a lock-up for some business equipment, somewhere for those archive files or just storing all that clutter from the garage or attic, come and speak to us now and we will be able to advise you on sizes, likely cost and availability.
How much storage space have we got available?
As this is a new venture for the Gattinetts, we are able to be fairly adaptable to clients needs. Sizes start from approximately 60 square feet of space, so ideal for gaining extra space in your garage or attic, or storing materials or equipment for a small business. If clients have more specific needs for larger areas, this can be negotiated.
What is the minimum rent period?
You can rent storage space at the Gattinetts for a minimum term of four weeks and then in multiples of four weeks for as long as you like. A returnable deposit is required, equivalent to four weeks rent. A discount of 10% will apply if you rent on a yearly basis.When is rent due?
Rent must be paid at least one week in advance in blocks of four weeks. You will need to tell us four weeks in advance if you no longer need the space. For clients who rent yearly, rent is paid monthly in advance and a one month notice period is required if you no longer need the space.
How can you access your stuff?
Conveniently located in East Bergholt, you will be able to drive right up to your unit to pack or check on your belongings. You will be given your own key to the external door for your storage space and will need to provide your own padlock for the inside door. You will be able to access this freely Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. If you need access at other times, this can be arranged.
Site Security
The Gattinetts is secured by an automatic entry gate that opens on weekdays at 7am and closes at 6pm (entry after these hours is by use of a key fob not automatically supplied to storage space customers). The main storage has a high security five lever mortice lock and each separate space is locked with your own padlock.
Insurance
There is NO insurance cover on your items whilst they are in store. Insuring will be the responsibility of the person renting the space.
What can be stored?
Any items can be stored in our units so long as they can fit through a normal door, are not flammable, explosive or illegal. The space provided is clean and dry and suitable for domestic uses such as storage of household contents during a home move, decorating and renovating, or whilst letting your property and freeing up the space in your garage or loft, etc. Businesses also find our storage space invaluable for storing business stock, tools and equipment, archive documents, surplus office furniture, occasional use exhibition equipment, stock for home based ventures, short term overspill stock, market traders stock, seasonal stock, etc.
