The Gattinetts can be found in the picturesque village of East Bergholt, about a mile from the A12, in the heart of Constable Country equidistant between Ipswich and Colchester. Manningtree railway station is a ten minute drive away, with it's mainline service to London Liverpool Street, Norwich and ferries to the continent.

There are excellent schools, pubs and shops in the village, including a kindergarten on site.
